St. Francis Hospital Nsambya, commonly known as Nsambya Hospital, is a well-established private, not-for-profit hospital located in Kampala, Uganda. Founded in 1903 by the Little Sisters of St. Francis, the hospital has grown into one of the most respected healthcare institutions in the country. It operates under the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau and maintains a strong commitment to compassionate, faith-based care. Nsambya Hospital is also a key teaching facility, affiliated with Uganda Martyrs University, where it plays an essential role in training future healthcare professionals through its medical and nursing education programs.
